i would have been dead already if my mum hadnt swerved. this morning, i almost got into a fatal accident! it was such a scare! it was nearing my school and then there was this split road. my mum was on the lane which wound split. then this car was rushing to get into my mum's lane that he tried to squeeze into my mum's lane. my mum was going at a super high speed cos we were late (as usual). then she swerved away and then swerved back into the lane, missing the curb and another car on the left!! so amazing! i really was so shocked. it was really wierd, as i was praying and thanking God for letting us pass the traffic light, just before the almost accident happened, as the traffic light would determine whether we would be late or not. Then the almost accident happened! my heart was pounding like crazy! haha. :)
im just happy that i am still alive, and this incident has helped me to awaken from my "dreamland" and all. cos i realised that if i had died at that moment, i wouldnt be sure whether i would go to heaven... i havent been really close to God these last few months and i knew that, but i did nothing about it... sigh. but i think God made me go through this traumatic experience to help me to realise my poor spiritual state and to get back on track. i really thank God for this close-to-death experience which through this, He has given me the motivation to continue my doing my QT.
i was in the front seat, my mum was in the driver's seat and april was sitting directly behind me. you noe something? my mum said that if she had not swerved, all of us would have died. if she had swerved once only, only i would have died. if she didnt avoid the car, i would have died again... waht!!! i would have died in all 3 senarios! haha. when i was walking down the corridor, i felt this great overwhelming joy that God had protected me through this experience and i am assured that He will continue to do so. He has strenghthened my faith in him and my spiritual walk with Him. i really feel so BLESSED. im not going to TOUCH WOOD like my friends told me to, cos not only does it not work, i know that i will have faith that God did that for a good reason and he would never allow anything bad to happen to me, unless it was for my own good. thank you, LORD.
God always does things for a reason, so, all those people out there, i hope you now know that God is with you always and He will never leave you, nor forsake you! :) GOD BLESS!!
