thank you yd girls for reminding me about what it means to love others, despite whether or not we feel we approve of what they do. because, who are we to judge? we are all sinners; its not right to think that people who commit certain sins are more sinful than those who commit "less major" sins. we have our own circumstances and weaknesses, and i guess what i need is more faith to believe in God's promise to all believers that:

"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."-Romans 8:38-39

and thus i know that God works things in His own time, and will not let a believer fall so far into sin that He is unable to repent of it.

i also need more love to remember that i too am a sinner, and i am not perfect! and thus i should not insist that everyone should behave like me, because different people have different struggles, and in the famous bible passage on love it says:

"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends..."-1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

all this while, i thought i was being loving when i got upset over the sins of others: i thought it was "righteous anger". but after today's message discussion, when i looked deep down, i saw pride and self-righteous behaviour that caused me to break down, and i was really humbled by that passage.

All you need is love! this phrase is really so true! the bible even says that the greatest commandment is love because once we start loving others and loving God, everything will fall into place, and we will be obeying all the 12 commandments!

love is not something that we can say that we have if we dont make a conscious effort to do it. it is shown through actions, and is not that little warm and fuzzy feeling we have in our chests. may we all strive to love more, just as Christ showed the ultimate love when He came down from the comforts of heaven, to suffer on earth to pay the penalty for OUR sins. may the Holy Spirit bring this to my remembrance everytime i am on the verge of judging others :/
