hehe loving today! (:
we went to the campus crusade booksaleeeeee and there were soooo many booksssssss!!!! we browsed around for a few hours (lol) and i managed to find 2 books that i really liked! (: one by RC Sproul (i talked about him in a few posts back) and one by some unknown guy (but he sounds cool!) haha.
so excited that i found books from RC Sproul! so i decided to put away my half-read book by John Piper, and read about things that really interests me! the book is called the essentials of the Christian Faith (: ive only just started reading the first few pages, and RC Sproul is easily becoming one of my favourite authors! so glad that God had impressed the need on his heart to write these things! he has a strong emphasis on theology, where he believes that it is only through deep understanding of God's word that we can fully love Him. and i so totally agree!! hahaha.
today was great also because yf was nice (: the program was a video on the Reformation and the life of Martin Luther! it may sound really boring but im surprised that it was really very interesting! i dont think i really ever understood the reformation till today haha. and its so cool, what Martin Luther did: he risked His life and everything just to stand up for what He believed in, which was God's word! and he was just so firm, even though initially everyone accused him of heresy, and wanted to kill him. but i really thank God for seeing him though this time of persecution, and thank God for my church and what it is today (:
haha but not only was the program nice, the fellowship was nice too! i think everyone really enjoyed the video, and we had a really good discussion about it during our group sharing (: it was also nice that i got to talk to a few of the younger girls... they are so lovely to be with, and its not as difficult as i pictured it to be (thank God!)
all in all, today was a really great day! its funny, but im looking forward to next week's yf! it truly feels like home <3>3>
