today's sermon was refreshing (:
we did psalms 96 and it really reminded me about how ive lost my focus!
its so easy to forget how we are to look forward to Christ's return, because its so easy to be distracted by all the things we need to do, things we need to complete. i guess thats satan's subtle way of tempting believers? making us see the present as the most important thing for now, when we dont know when Jesus is going to come and judge the world! what if its tomorrow???? shouldnt we live with the urgency each day that our Saviour is going to return soon??
kinda scares me sometimes.. i dont want to go to heaven and look back in regret, about how i wished i had talked more to my friends about Him, and just shared how His love has changed me.. can you imagine?? we'll have eternity to regret!!! yeah, its just so easy to get caught in the moment!
i just wish that everyone could see the urgency... just to stop being so caught up with ourselves and just start looking to others and to God!
but i guess, saying this, it should really start with me. :P
