this weekend was great (:
really encouraged by how yf was this week! its becoming a much more loving place now, people are making efforts to talk to people they dont usually talk to, and it feels like the cliques are disappearing! (: so thankful to God who works in our hearts to teach us how to love! (:
and today after yd, i saw a bunch of the a level gals and guys praying together (: and another 2 guys praying with each other! it just reminded me of the importance of fellowship, and how we arent perfect, and thats why we need each other to help us to stay on the right track!
im also quite thankful for sunday school, maybe its where i want to be! (: cos i can see how even in service, i am constantly learning, and without that "push", i probably wont be disciplined enough to read the bible at that pace. it also helps me to see that the bible can apply to all ages! it caters to the youngest toddlers who have yet to be able to read, up to scholars who spend their lifetimes trying to understand and apply the Word. it is really an amazingly versatile book!
i guess i just realised that God has provided me with so many areas where i can love Him and grow in a deeper understanding of Him! and all are there so that they help me to grow in different ways!
i love how sunday school teaches me how to extract simple key lessons that are applicable to life from the bible,
QT teaches me about theology, and loving God in the knowledge of Him,
regenerate teaches me how to analyse the text and have more in-depth studies,
yd bible studies is where i enjoy fellowship with like-minded sisters over the Word,
yf is where i learn to lead and love the younger ones
and school is where i can learn how to be a testimony and not to be ashamed of what i believe in.
i know He loves me! (: why else would He bother about my spiritual growth? (:
just comforted by this fact that there is Someone out there who loves me more that i can ever love Him, but that doesnt make Him love me any less.. thank You Lord (:
