this article really came at the right time for me...
"If i give away all I have, and if i deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient and kind; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends." - 1 Corinthians 13: 3-8a
its so hard to be patient when we are convinced that we are right and other other person is wrong. its so much easier to be arrogant and irritable.
i dont know how Jesus did it... how was He always loving, never irritable or rude, never arrogant or resentful, even when He knew that people hated Him, and wronged Him, and continually were finding ways to kill him..
i guess this only makes me feel so undeserving of grace.. and helps me to remember that we are all sinners saved by grace, even if we sometimes dont act like it
