do dreams reveal a deeper dissatisfaction with what i have, and just wanting to have things my way?

just had a dream a few days back in camp, a first of its kind... dont really want to go into it here.. but im wondering how come my dreams are so theologically unsound and shallow! i wonder whether it reflects what i really cling to the most, and what i hold dear.

im praying for a deeper understanding of You, that Your words will sink deeper into me, and even into my subconscious, filling every part of me, so that I will act and speak out of the abundance of my heart (:
