i think the reason why i dont pray often is because i often only pray when im desperate.
yesterday, i just randomly decided to talk to God, and i realised that prayer can be enjoyable! the reason why i didnt find it enjoyable was probably because i associate prayer with distress and troubling times haha.
prayer is such a comforting privilege! we can talk to our Almighty God (the creator of the whole earth and everything that we know of) whenever and wherever we want, and He will be there listening! He doesn't anger when we pray for stupid things, and longs that we depend on Him!
its felt so great to pray when i was happy, because it only made me feel happier that i know that my future is in God's hands, and that i am His child (:
so often i struggle and struggle to do things, but i forget how great a relief it can be to pray and have my burdens lifted!
so try praying today! i know it sounds like such a cliche, but you only know when you try it first hand! at least that applies to me (:
