"But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God." - James 1:19-20

so many things about this verse is not evident in me... im often quick to judge and jump to conclusions, and quick to anger. ): such a short verse, but so much truth!

"Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted." - Galations 6:1

we are learning about gentleness in the beatitudes for precepts, and its really one point that im lacking greatly.. ): ): ): but it is the crux of christianity. when we are forgiven, we have no right to be anything else but humble. so likewise, we should treat others with grace/ mercy even when we feel like they dont deserve it, because we are undeserving too!

Lord, please keep me humble so that I can have a spirit of gentleness and patience in all circumstances!
