Because recently, I have become more convicted of the fact that I malign others quite easily. So I have tried to be more conscious about it.. However, this has caused me to realise that so many others in church do it too! then I have this strong urge to rebuke them, but often in a very prideful way. 

Im sooooo thankful that God showed me an example of how to remain 'unstained' even when everyone was talking about a certain someone, through one of the church members today... If i were in that situation, I would definitely feel uncomfortable, but out of politeness I would try to laugh softly along with them, not really saying anything. 

But today I saw an example of someone who really loves God, and doesnt want to displease Him by showing any interest in such conversations. When all the conversations were going on (the person was literally surrounded by them), he just looked down and ate his food, not bothering to make any eye contact or be a part of unfruitful conversation, only starting conversation that had the intention of edifying others.

i know i am not at that stage yet, but im praying for COURAGE to show disinterest in ungodly conversation, and more zeal to start godly conversations (rather than always taking a neutral stance)... life is too short to waste it being unfruitful ):
