just watched Child of our time! love itttttt!!

my favourites are
 Helena

Rubin

and Nathan

they are the cutest things alive seriously. the first one is a silly but happy little girl who loves life and everything happy. Rubin is a more contemplative one, but he's such a sweetie and so sincere when he talks. Nathan should be nicknamed pudgekins cos he has such pinchable cheeks! he is also sooo cute when he giggles (:

this week's episode was on happiness and whether it is in their genes or is it brought about by upbringing. so interesting to see how they test happiness and that their happiness level is more or less fixed by the time they are 6!

i was just thinking about how i was such a grumpy child. im sure if i was on this show, i would probably be one of those that no one really liked haha. maybe they would have to cut out a few scenes of me being grumpy, cos it was just too much! haha. come to think of it, was i really ever happy? cos everyone remembers me as the one that only wants mummy, and the one that cries :P oh well. i'd like to say that i've changed, but i don't know haha.

makes me scared to have children (if i have the choice to), cos what if i have to deal with ME! :S but i guess even though genes do play a part, upbringing too plays a part in how a child turns out. the show makes everything seems so fine and dandy, but im sure behind the scenes there is so much more to bringing up a child.

communication and showing love to the child is a big factor in happiness/ optimism from what i've seen. so next time when i have a child, i will be generous with the kisses and hugs hehe (:

haha random thoughts of the day. now, back to work! (:
