Have no FOMO!

A really apt article after we did the bible study on James about resisting temptation. The heart of every sin is the lie that if we obey God, we miss out on something good. It is so subtle but you will realise it is true for all sins!
This article makes me so happy because it reminds me that I already have everything in God! It is the confident expectation that everything this world has to offer cannot be compared to the fullness of joy that i will have when i finally see Him and become like Him! This is clearly the most logical thing to do, living life storing up treasures in our eternal home, even if it costs us "monopoly money" in this current world hehe (: I can be confident that I will not miss out on any "good", because God is the giver of every good and perfect gift, and He is the embodiment of "good"!
"I can't shake the thought that God wired our hearts to experience FOMO. While the design has been sabotaged by our enemy, what if it was originally programmed into us to drive us to God? What if we fled from sin because it threatened to cause us to miss out on God? What if we felt so much horror at the thought of missing out on displaying God's glory that we refused to waste our lives?"
So have no FOMO, unless you FOMO on God!
