really encouraged by friends who really love God and want to make a difference for Him! (:
don't you just love that feeling when a friend shares the same convictions and is excited about the things that you are excited about! i really thank God for such moments of connection! almost feels like telepathy (:
i sometimes assume that i wouldn't have to look very far to find a friend like that in church, but somehow it only works in theory. it feels like these interactions are few and far in between. but i guess it makes me even more thankful for these friends when they do come my way (:
we invited more girls into our yd, and i'm really excited!! i really really thank God for how he has changed us to love and accept each other more, even though we started off as really different people from different walks of life with very different ways of thinking. He made our gatherings a conducive place for sharing our joys and struggles, and even created an atmosphere that we can rebuke each other in love. it reminds me that even though we are so different, we can be united in Christ because He is our common goal (: i love these girls to bits!! (:
i can't imagine what it would be like in heaven! when we are all perfectly united! because i'm already loving the foretaste of heaven, i'm really looking forward to the full-taste! i'm sure it will be so so much better! Come Lord Jesus, I long to be at home (:
