i brought my friend for one session of Christianity Explored today... was so scared that she was going to turn me down, but she didnt! im so happy that she came, and so thankful for this program! its something that i would not have been able to do on my own, because of all the support that i've received from the leaders of the course (: hope she wasnt too intimidated, but so glad that she had the courage to ask questions! still praying and hoping for the best...
my heart was beating so fast during almost the whole session.. almost felt like i was getting the shivers, maybe cos the room was so cold, but also because i was so anxious to know what is going on in the newcomer's heads! i know it is silly, but i was just too scared to say anything, thinking that i might ruin something/ say something wrong. haha. but i have to keep telling myself that God has things in control (:
we just learnt today how God had control over sickness, nature, demons, and even death, so he is definitely able to bring someone who is spiritually dead back to life! i just need to really believe he is in control.
please pray for her, even if you dont know her! i dont have confidence that she will keep coming, because of her work commitments, but i pray that God will somehow make a way! i've never had any of my friends come to Christ through me before, and i guess i really dont know how to bring someone to Christ, so i really need your prayers...
i'm finding it so hard to concentrate and get back to work right now cos there are so many thoughts running through my head! i feel like im just constantly pleading with God to save her. please save her ): or at least plant the seed in her!
