its amazing what 2 can do for Christ! I really look up to this couple who has done whatever they could placed in whatever situation they are in. They have 2 lovely kids, and foster a child, until he is ready to go back to his actual home. They mentor couples which are about to get married/ in a relationship. They teach in church. They are great role models for their children. They live life ordinarily, but are extraordinary in the way that Christianity is a way of life, rather than a compartment in their lives.
And that is all that is needed, really. you don't have to travel to the ends of the earth to make a difference in God's kingdom. It gets me thinking about what my life would be if i were to get married... the possibilities excite me (:
It is also amazing what a group of friends can do for Christ! I was also really encouraged by friends who visit the homeless, providing food for them and praying for them. Just this small gesture done one evening is enough to bring one of the homeless uncles to tears. Singles can glorify God too! (:
