I've been thinking about friends, and how I was telling april the other day that the people whom you take photos with are most likely the people who influence you the most at that point of your life. Like if I were to see a person's facebook page filled with all school friends, and no church friends, it would be something to be concerned about. its just an observation that i've made, but not necessarily applicable to all circumstances, depending on who the person is/ who is taking the photos etc. But it is largely true..
And I think i heard somewhere that a normal person is only able to maintain a certain number of close friendships. cant remember the exact number, but i think it is more than 5 and less than 100 haha. definitely less than the number of facebook friends that you have haha. So I was just thinking that perhaps I invest so much in my church friends, that I dont see a need to connect with my other friends? Its like i've maximised by friend quota already, so the introverted side of me has expended all my energy. I definitely dont think its healthy too, to be too comfortable in my own christian bubble, and not be actively fighting the "battle" that is at hand!
So, i've only recently made the connection between my facebook interactions and the amount of time i invest in my church friends. I think its time to reach further than that, because even though it is out of my comfort zone, there is really so much to gain.
